Job description

The Digital Marketing Director of Demand Generation is an exciting opportunity to lead the Demand Gen function for a Fintech leader across the North America, Europe and Asia markets. With a holistic view of the business, the ideal candidate will leverage lead generation best practices and partner across the organization to drive demand for Linedata's offerings to grow revenue and advance corporate goals. This position will report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for communicating and executing a cohesive demand generation strategy and put an operational infrastructure in place to improve the existing lead generation process to reach customers more effectively. A proven leader, (s)he will build integrated programs that generate and deliver targeted leads that convert to a qualified pipeline across all digital channels for the B2B sales staff.

A highly effective operator, this member of the Marketing leadership team will drive continuous, data-driven improvements that increase campaign ROI. This position requires a unique blend of leadership, technical, creative, analytical, and project management expertise.

The Senior Director of Demand Generation is expected to:

Contribute actively to the success of our Client, the Demand Generation Lead is expected to:
• Develop and execute a Demand Generation vision and strategy to grow, track and improve marketing-sourced and influenced pipeline and revenue.
• Develop and lead the Demand Generation team, building increased competency across marketing automation, web, paid media, email, operational marketing and other direct marketing activities.
• Build a unified focus and functional vision within the Demand Generation team, to include online and offline channels.
• Establish strong leadership presence and subject matter expertise of the Demand Generation function and demonstrate a collaborative approach for working closely with Business Development and Sales.
• Build, orchestrate and manage a marketing calendar that supports continuous pipeline generation.
• Refine the end-to-end lead management process in conjunction with Sales, including lead capture and lead nurturing.
• Develop the metrics and tools needed to evaluate the effectiveness of demand generation activities and the growth of conversion metrics.
• Build a Demand Generation dashboard that will track and measure impact within and across all Demand creation programs and along the demand waterfall.
• Generate regular reporting for all major metrics and KPIs.
• Optimize campaigns based on results and effectiveness data.
• Inform and direct efforts to integrate marketing automation platform to CRM and other systems or digital channels.
• Analyze industry trends, market conditions and competitors' marketing tactics to continuously improve demand generation strategy.
• Work closely with the CMO and other senior members of sales and marketing leadership to refine campaign planning


The successful candidate will have:
• 8+ years' experience developing and directly executing strategic demand generation and lead generation programs for B2B technology companies, with a demonstrable track record of achieving significant results.
• Demonstrated experience supporting the business development team.
• Strong knowledge and experience in marketing in the IT market.
• Experience in the FinTech market.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets and a desire to own and be accountable for the demand generation efforts.
• Superior analytic skills, and the ability to compile, analyze and leverage performance data to both identify new opportunities and optimize current campaigns.
• A highly entrepreneurial spirit with strong ROI orientation, someone who is clear on business objectives and is willing to take risks to solve them and swiftly learn from mistakes.
• Strong comfort level and skillset with hands-on work in MS Dynamics, marketing automation tools, marketing technology integrations, and marketing analytics.
• Experience with targeting, segmenting, and profiling of prospects and customers.
• Experience writing and presenting ROI-driven marketing campaign plans.
• Energetic, passionate, and articulate communicator who can convey information to a wide variety of internal and external audiences.
• Experience owning and managing a demand generation budget.
• An undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or business, coupled with an MBA is preferred.
