Job description

We require a highly motivated, eager-to-learn IT professional to help monitor and maintain systems in our 24x7 hosted environments located in Data Centers in the US, UK and Asia. This is a challenging position for candidates who wish to be exposed to many different technologies. This position allows hands-on opportunities in Server, Network, Storage and Virtualization areas.

Skills Required:
Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a Microsoft Enterprise environment. Knowledge of Windows Active Directory Domains and TCP/IP are expected. Should be able to install servers, troubleshoot hardware, software and network problems, and answer questions from staff. Applicant should be a highly motivated self starter who can manage time, learn quickly adapt to change and communicate well. The applicant would also be expected to assist in the testing and implementing of projects, and adherence to Audit standards and policies. The job is a challenging position that requires hard work and flexibility. Night and weekend work is expected, as well as rotating 24x7 “on-call” support for Production Data Centers.

Excellent business communication, writing and interpersonal skills in English are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Help maintain and support 24x7 Production Data Centers distributed globally, including sharing rotating ‘on call' duties and weekend work
• Help maintain and troubleshoot the Windows Domain and Linux network.
• Maintain and support a multi-site network infrastructure including external VPN and MPLS connections.
• Work with, maintain and develop disaster recovery tests and plans.
• Provide problem resolution of systems and networks for local and remote users.
• Assist with hardware and software procurement and installation.

Required skills:
• Citrix CCP-V/N – Netscaler, Storefront, XenApp, XenDesktop
• VMWare VCAP
• Cisco and HP Networking – ACLs, Routing, VPNs, Private & Public Circuits
• Pure and EMC Storage or similar SAN experience
• Zerto Disaster Recovery or similar Virtual Replication / DR technology
• Microsoft Active Directory
• HP Server Technologies or similar hardware vendor

Additional Technologies:
• Exagrid/Unitrends/HP StoreOnce backup devices or similar deduplication technology
• Veeam/Unitrends/HP Data Protector or similar backup software
• Microsoft System Center
• Turbonomic
• Wireshark
