Job description

As a member of the North American Sales organization, the Senior Pre-Sales Executive will be responsible for both assisting in selling and selling Linedata's Technology Services. LTS is an IT outsourcing provider, specializing in financial services, cloud technologies & managed services. This seasoned pre-sales executive will focus on assisting with technical designs for deals, building a personal pipeline and assist in closing large deals. The successful candidate will display a strong understanding of the asset management industry and be comfortable presenting fully integrated technology and staffing solutions to senior level executives. In addition to having 7-10+ years of senior pre-sales experience positioning solutions in the investment management arena, the ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and relationship selling skills and be looking to grow into a full sales role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist the sales team with the generation of prospects and manage a modest sales pipeline sufficient to achieve quota targets.
• Build a personal pipeline across assigned territory through business development and networking opportunities.
• Develop and communicate effective business and action plans to address opportunities.
• Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate sales consultants and support resources to successfully deliver sales solutions to clients.
• Actively contribute to knowledge sharing on client needs and context.
• Conduct needs/solutions analysis to effectively position solutions
• Design technical solutions across the variety of technical options available to LTS.
• Generate and follow up on proposals/offers to prospects.
• Identify and understand key decision makers, users and influencers at assigned customer organizations.
• Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key decision makers.
• Ensure highest level of client satisfaction and reference-ability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7-10+ years of successful pre-sales experience (investment management firms, hedge funds or fund administrators is preferable but not essential.)
• Bachelor's Degree (Technology discipline preferred) or similar experience
• Technical delivery/Technical Pre-Sales background, including global support
• Strong technical knowledge of market leading technologies in Public Cloud, Private Cloud, Managed Services & Cybersecurity
• Specific knowledge of Office365 & azure required. Knowledge of workflow automation (AIOps) desirable
• A good understanding of compliance within finance, global data privacy laws & regulatory technical solutions is desirable.
• Strong industry experience, specifically in investment management, with the ability to talk on a peer-to-peer level with senior portfolio managers, compliance officer traders, technology offices and C-level executives is desirable.
• Highly energetic, pro-active and creative
• Superior presentation skills, both oral and written
• Available and willing to travel within Manhattan for sales meetings , travel outside of NY up to 10%
